In my scene/level, I have only a simple multitextured terrain.

I am getting low FPS -- 30-50 (in windowed or fullscreen)

I don't think it's my computer, as it's half decent.

The thing is, in the debug panel, most of the frame rendering time is in "ref", which i understand to be refresh and vsync timing for fullscreen. But since the FPS is not at 60, there shouldn't be any wasted refresh time. The same issue is in windowed mode, which doesn't even need vsync.

I get about 14ms in "ref", and everything else is under 1ms.

Any ideas?
