Well this is an update from previous threads for anyone interested in buying Carrara 7.

they just put Carrara 7 on sale so here is how you get the lowest price:

You buy the daz studio book. It has a free copy of Carrara 6 pro. you register C6pro and then you can purchase C7pro for about $140. So total is about $170. regular price is about $550. If you want to join their club you can get C7pro for $99. sale ends on 31. In Daz world this is normal business practice and is perfectly legal and is actually encouraged.

If you have any interest in doing "poser" art this is a great deal.
I am not using carrara so I cannot rate how well it works.
