Why isn't it possible to add a working maximize button to the engine window with video_window()? Could you add this possiblity?

i would also like to have this possibility.

- a working maximize button
- the possibility to start maximized
- and an easy way (or an example) to adapt the engine resolution to the available window space if the window size changes

With maximized, I suppose you don't mean the fullscreen mode, but a window with the same size of the desktop?

Mind you, a full-screen button would be nice too... Just more difficult.

Yes. I'll add a maximize button that will trigger an event, just like the close button. The event can then maximize the window, which is 2 simple lines of lite-C, and adapt the panels, which will be a couple more lines.

i think this event should also trigger when the window size gets changed by dragging the window border? or maybe resizing should trigger a separate event?

will the event get the new available screen size as parameters?
