Well, it's not a contribution (yet) per se, but I'm looking for making some weapons, mostly projectile weapons like handguns, machineguns and so on.

I will make up to 10 weapons for this pack, but I'd like to know what should I include there. I will include separate magazine, bullets and animations, with normal, color, specular and maybe bump maps.

This pack will be free of charge, no royalties or strings attached in as high quality as I can create. Also as a sidenote, a portfolio update smile

I'm working on Walter P99 atm, just to show the quality.

Pappenheimer: Sure, I'll do it later today.

Mercuryus: I thought about it too. Takes a while to do decent hands, but I'll try to finish the pack as soon as possible, I'll say in 4 weeks all 10 models w/ textures and animations + hands will be ready.

a FN P90 OR a HK MP7? (light machine guns?)

p90 would be easier to model(though it d be cool if it had scope and silencer):

And, hands would be pretty cool! And as for ego shooters, maybe you can make a very low poly world models of the weapons too?

i mean like in css, a high quality view model with hands for firt person view, and very low poly(with 128x128 or 256x256 texture) model world.(drops when you die, the ones you see on the ground&pickup from ground)
