Moin moin,

I've got a problem with translucent objects. Most of them look fine, but sometime the transparent pass rendering doesn't work. The image shows what I mean.



The shown red block has got set the translucent-flag and an alpha value of 90. I don't use a map, the level consists of Entitys created by script only.
How can I fix my problem?

well, the red part.. is because there is a dark color behind the white part, seams its addictive color blending because its a bright color.

maybe thats the reason. I would say you set the translucent and bright flags , try to turn off bright? just a guess.

The BRIGHT-flag is not set, just translucent. By turning translucent off the block is rendered correctly. i think the problem is the sorting of the entities, the white block seems to be drawn after the red one.

make sure, the white ent is renderes in the solid pass, then it won't happen aymore.

i would do that, but I don't know which object is in front of another. Furthermore I want to have translucent objects because they fit into the game.
But thanks, perhaps you come up with another idea ;-)
