Is there a proper tutorial for setting LOD levels manually for models at specific distance? I remember reading somewhere about naming models (with different poly levels) as LOD1, 2, 3.. in filenames but can't remember where I read it.

Also, LOD levels how up in-game only? Is there a way to optimize WED speed when showing models? My whole level is made up of models so LOD crawls even when simply moving the view around (not to mention the controls of the perspective viewport make it really annoying as well).

EDIT: Nvm, found what I was looking for.
