Hi conitec,

I have some questions belonging the image processing of your engine, I hope you can give me answers here:

1: When I postprocess a scene using any postprocessing method, which buffer is edited? Is the rendered scene that is processed a backbuffer or where is this scene stored else?

2: How does A7 handle several views? Do there exist several backbuffers for each view?

3: When I access a rendertarget of a different color format (eg a fp format) to a view, does this view then render the hole scene using this color format or does it first render the scene into a buffer with a "standard" color format and then convert these color information into the format of it's render target?

1 - it's stored in the render_target bitmap. Details are in the manual: http://manual.conitec.net/stage.htm

2 - no, one backbuffer for all views as long as you don't assign render targets.

3 - it renders directly into your render target.
