Hi all, This is a 'use your imagination' poll. I have created a list of some game level themes that would cover a wide spectrum of genres. You could be the size of a human, a mouse, or even smaller... You could be in a 1st person shooter, and RPG, or some other strange genre... use your imagination. All I want is for you to check off your favorite places you'd like to play in. Doesnt matter what genre, or what type of game... just what would appeal to you ... again... use your imagination This will help me a lot in the next project! Thanks to all who vote, and please don't vote for them all lol PLEASE vote for more than one. and preffer your top 10 to 15 top choices ...don't be influenced by other people's votes, vote what's cool in your own mind Thanks! - Jason

Thinking of a modern Vampire game. Say you are 18-23 years old vampire, and newly turned into a vampire, you start as a newbie vamp, as story goes on you learn about vampire society, maybe an adventure game... so on.
This way you can use wide range of level types,
discos, science labs, sewers, indistrual plant, rooftops, casino, streets, motels, hospitals etc.

Thanks for the input... but I already have the game in mind.... just looking for the 'most popular' places that would appeal to players.... Again, some themes seem strange for some genres, but not so strange for others. Just imagine being in the places listed, no matter the game type

I love deserted natural environments, industrial, and medieval/prehistoric. All combined with some sort of scifi is even better, so I voted for all in this range :).
I wonder what game this is gonna be. My preference for environments does depend on the gameplay type...

I voted more than one.. but i prefer above all.. city rooftops. I love games where you have this feeling that you are part of something more than just where you are playing, on city rooftops you can see the lights and cars and hear the sound of car horns and people walking and stuff. I think its great. BUT as joozey said: 'depends of the gameplay type' I remenber playing GTA 1 from `playstation 1, i always got the feeling that something was happening more than what is happening in my screen. ooh nostalgic felling. lol

yes, please vote for more than one Just don't vote for all, or the poll wouldnt work so well lol Try to shoot for about half the list, more or less. All I'll say about the game is the player should like where they're playing, no matter what they're playing... which sounds pretty normal anyway And I'm sure some atmospheres will seem unusual at first glance, but pretend you're a kid again where even small worlds would be really neat to be in (ever pretend you could be really tiny and walk around the branches and all the pretty lights in a christmas tree?)

I'm missing "Huge Ring-worlds that can kill all life in the Galaxy" and "Cyberpunk"
