Island Hoppers Completed!

Hi all, just a quick and final update on Island Hoppers!

Just a reminder, Island Hoppers is a racing game developed by 10 1st year diploma students from Brisbane, Australia. We only had 13 weeks to complete the project. It has finally been completed!

Island Hoppers has just been featured in the latest AUM (68). So check out the magazine for screenshots and a small interview about the game. We were nominated for Game Connect: Asia-Pacific's Best unsigned Game 2007 Award. We actually came 2nd in the competition to the almighty Degree students of QANTM College in Brisbane.

Also please visit the Island Hoppers website and download the game and check it out. http://islandhoppers.insinner.com

Feedback and comments always welcome!
Also would like to say a big thank you to the Gamestudio community. You guys were a big help and we could never have done it without you.

Jason

this DEFINATLY is showcase 2 material!

*request for any mod that reads it to move*

really nice gameplay, and some nice visuals.
for a first project in this engine, and as a school project, all i can say is, you've done great!

the download though, allmost at 200 MB, is a bit big.
maybe you can compile a small demo for our users here that use dial-up?
just a thought, great work, hope you guys stick around here a while longer!

regards,

EDIT!: make sure you post some screenshots now it's in showcase 2 !

Thanks guys for the compliments guys, it really means a lot!
Keep the comments coming!

About the file size - I'm not too sure how to make it smaller sorry Helghast! We actually optimized the game before we did the final compile... but it is still a bit big.

Again thanks for the comments guys, and special thanks to lionclaws for posting up the screenshots.
