Avenger: Anger Management-Demo

I understand that I have posted this before, but I am ready to sell the game. Tomorrow, monday November 5th, the game will be released(unless a major issue arises).

If you have not seen the other thread, this is a game where you manage anger.

You have high-powered weapons and plenty of ammo. Plus, you have plenty of enemies. Most games try to anger you, but now, you fight your anger!

I've seen people giving money so that they might become mages , I've seen people giving money to other people for 'i-net cancer & aids cure', why do you think noone will pay for a game like this ?
In my opinion its not ugly...and Showcase II is not for 'beautiful' games with roses everywhere remember the rules ? Its required to be finished...if his goal is to have 1 play-mode (survival) than , his game is finished in my opinion.
Yes , there is room for improvement , not only on graphics , but on scripting too. Just 'shooting' wont make a 3D game , you must have atleast armor & powerups...but you have to agree , we've seen everything on the net , and this is a good idea designed badly. Instead of telling him how to improve the current quality (most of you say that 'others' should do just that,so you're against your own words here) you're telling him that this isnt a game, but a bad joke...
And for final words , I'd like to say that after starting World of Warcraft Burning Crusade , my toughts were : "Is this a joke?". They changed the music to some 'dark fairyland' theme wich ruined the overall look of the menu and the whole concept of the game...So , please ... tell him that there is Photoshop , tell him there are tons of tutorials(many video tuts also) and offer him a free zombie model with a better shape & skin.

PS.: With a little imagination the game looks good...if we suppose there was 'quest' mode , skills and some variance of skins of the zombies

this is a showcase. he did not call for help, but for a review of the demo and the trailer. and the rules say as well:

Quote:

# If you have only been working on your game for a few weeks, please post it in Showcase 1. If you truly feel that your game looks great and is professional, post it in Showcase 2.
# When posting your work here, you expose it to criticism. If you are offended by negative opinions, don't post.

Those people are very desperate and are taken advantage of by bad people. Besides, you won't ever reach those poor people unless you're going to claim that this Anger Management game cures cancer or something...

Cheers

also i am not into this~

btw~ isnt the best way to fight anger to calm down?
instead of getting more angry by shooting on zombies that eat your ass~

Did any of you at least try the demo? Try it, and then post comments.

Let me just say that I am disgusted by the remarks I have seen here. Not one of you(aside from the one post) offered any CONSTRUCTIVE critisism, other than the odd "Work more." I understand that I exposed it to critisism. I mean, even when I posted the most horrible version ever, the first demo, with the horrible test dummy zombies, people reacted better.

This game has been the product of a year's worth of hard work, and getting what I can. I have coded everything from scratch.

The criticism can also be viewed as constructive. Although some reactions are sound a little harsh, because they expected a certain amount of quality. There are lots of hints inside their comments which in turn could improve your game. Better then people who lie to be nice Good luck!

Cheer up man , don't let the negative comments put you down.

There's a lot of experience required to ultimately make a good game and you've just succeeded in gaining more experience. The game itself may not be great, but without bad games you will never make good games...

Unless you are going to totally ignore all bits of constructive critic in this thread (yes, there is sóme), you will simply get better and better at making better games.

Cheers

This game for me is not about selling it. It's more about letting people know that Two Screws Loose is here, and making games.

Also, I understand that you all expect a certain amount of quality, but this game is not a million-dollar-budget game! I will take the profits from this game, and finance a better, online game.

One last thing, how can there be any constructive critisism in telling me that a monkey would loose his sanity playing my game, or telling me "The trailer made me sick!"?
