Immersive Environment

Here you find a project which is not a game, but much more an open communication tool.
It builds upon a multiplayer logic (there might be a 100 peers or more – we’ve just tested with a handful persons ), but the server statistics makes us think that there may be a huge number of people who might login simultaneously.
It’s core functionality is teamspeak (voice communication from peer to peer – so that everybody who enters this site, might get in touch with anybody else.

In fact: the goal for which it made for, is just to present an intriguing lounge for our publishing house, where aged readers might meet and have a chat, or where out artists and writers may perform readings, exhibitions and so forth.

So you won’t find orgs and fairies but just a very ordinary environment (a cinema).

Another crucial thing of the project is a built-in autopatcher (which you might know from projects like SecondLife). When you log in the software checks for news – and uploads these novelties onto your computer. The idea behind is: that this project may get bigger during time.

One of the reasons to show it off here in the forum, that we are still looking for gifted level designers (who feel at least coequal to what the see done here), and people who are acquainted with Poser, animations, biovision moevents etc.

So don’t be reluctant to contact us.
You might do this, if you send me a personal message.
It would be great if there was anybody from Berlin around.

One remark: the version which you can download now won’t connect you at the moment.
We are setting up a special server for this – so next week there will be full functionality.

download program, 18 MB

And if you want to look at the documentation first

this is a work in progress - and things are improving quite well.
There's a new camera and movement navigation, new user interface... to make things much more intuitive. And there's a fully animated actor to your disposition.

Nevertheless, we did not care too much about the visual side of the level. But
that will come.. as this project is going to be extended. So were still interested in beta tested, skilled collaborators.
