Demo of "Tower"

Tower is a fun game for the whole family. A game where you can shoot lazers and rockets have massive explosions and nobody dies. You learn how to play Tower very quickly but may never fully master this 3d puzzle game.

I'll have a webpage up for tower very soon. While it doesn't say it in the help documents, you can press H for help and you can also use the controller to play the game.

Guantlet stops after 4 levels for me... I have played through the same four levels countless times, and it always brings me back to the main menu after level 4... could this be a problem with the game???

? Guantlet doesn't have levels. It's a single level that goes until you lose so you can see how high of a score you can make.

Level 5 of Adventure needs some tweaking, but once you finish that level you do get restared as there are only 5 levels in this demo.

lol, i donīt get beyond level 2 or 1300 points^^ very well, good job. tweak the explosion effect a bit. what about a "real" particle explosion?

o i was looking at adventure, but either way, gauntlet is not available... it will not load if i click the button. But anyways, someone has probably wone the comp already... noticed something else though. Sometimes, when u shoot a missle at a grey block, it sticks into the block, and dosent blow up for another 10 seconds... I usually end up shooting 3 rocks at the same block cause i forget there is already one there waiting to blow up. Not sure what would cause that, but just thought i would let you know.

There was a special build made for the contest. It was called tower_contest.zip. Yes somebody already won the prize.

YOu should never be able to fire 2 rockets at one IND block. I've heard of the rocket not exploding on contact before, but i had adjust the code. I'll work on that some more.

I"ll tweak the explosions to look a little better.

Have only played the adventure so far ... but really fun. Getting the hang of it. It's very addictive. Great job. Let me master it some more than I will impress you all with my high scores.

When the game if fully finished I'll have an "upload score to internet" option where you can see how you rank with other players.

Ok,
For some reason level 2 - 100 red - gives me the most trouble. If I get past it - I likely get through the next two levels easier. Don't know why.

Be nice to always show the score - when I cleared all the levels I ended up back at the main menu without knowing what my final score was ... so now ... how can I brag?

Its shaping up to be a fun game. Good luck.

I'm not sure why people have a problem with that level. I can randomlly blast though that level and win. This does help me in understanding what goals will be hard and what goals will be easy in making levels for the real game.

When I'm done I'll have a sceen inbetween levels that tell you cool facts of what you did in the previous level. Tell you how long you took and all that good stuff. Tell you the best score for that level, and the best time.

Very nice game. And a good idea.
Perhaps you could improve the Blocks' graphix a little bit, e. g. with a filthy and grunge look.
