World Challenge Soccer 2006

Hello everyone,

I am currently working on my second title with 3DGS called "World Challenge Soccer 2006". The demo version will be available early 2005. My publisher shows big interest in this title, so I think it will be also released through Greenstreet Games. Release date will be probably 2005.

Main features are:
- realistic ball physics
- different team characterstics
- each team player has his own conditions, like stamina, motivation, injuries
- 3 game modes: friendly game, world challenge, multiplayer
- choose between 20 national teams
- realistic stadium amtosphere

I am developing WCS 2006 since July now with the same small team from RC Boat Challenge and I want to show you the first screenshots.

I am looking forward to the replys,
Florian

Great work....

only one criticism: All player have the same body attitude (looking like cyborgs ), and some different colors of skin and hair were good.

Hello everyone,

thanks for all the replys, comments and suggestions.
I used Cinema 4D to render the crowd sprites.
I have placed 10 different animated models side by side
and rendered the complete animation with 7 frames.
To avoid recurrences in the ensemble I used different
positions of the models and created about 6 animated sprites
a 10 models (I also flipped some sprites horizontal).

Since it is an unofficial game concerning the World Championship
2006 in Germany, the players won't have original names and textures.
But you can enter names for the players in the game
as you like.

The model textures aren't finalized yet, so in future they will
have different looks regarding hair, face, etc.

Bye,
Florian

This game looks very impressive! How are you going to determine which team is better than a other team? I mean Brasil is normally very good, and so is England, but some of the teams didn't do very well last time, though they were favorites.......
And yes, what's your approche on the AI??

Cheers
