My game is for sell now after a year of work

Reverse The Abnormal is for sell now for $26.99.
About default scripts I am just a beginner and this is my first game and my first project so I am not to good at using all features in making new scripts thanks for noting that it could had been updated abit on that last time I am just not that far ahead just yet I think I did a good job with the ones I had though.
There are some typos that I am am going to have fixed in the storyline by providing an update file. This update will also have all passcodes for all levels there are 13 levels. The Bonus level013 I added for making people wait, you wont need a passcode for it or the first level001, logic. You will need a fast system to play on though. It should have at least 1024 MB's of DDR Ram installed and at least a AthlonXP 2200 system or higher and an 8X AGP Videocard the new storyline will be in the form of short slids on video these would not fit on the same disc. So it is best to save these and put them into your story line folder on your hard drive in the Readme file in each level after you have unzipped you files. Check out videos to see the extra work I did to fix my explossions. If you still dont think the game belongs here just move the post to the first showcase I without making a big fuss this time. I had shipped my game and then put it on hold until my new updated one could get on my shop. So try and give it a look at again. I worked on this very hard and alot to change things. Each time I felt it needed something that I thought I was able to fix. I also improved on the sky on all levels with a cloudy fog like FX see level008 video clip to see this kind of FX that change a litte bit in each level. It is also seen in the video clip on Update005.wmv this is how the links are listed in the front if any links are down we had a few sever misshaps here and there. I worked on every level again before I shiped it this time some explossions have 43 frames there are there types of exploding FX. I hope you guys like it better this time. I will try to make the videos of the new storyline at a very good quality for the update that I should have up by sometime tommorrow at. I have to get a test ran on my heart tommorow so I will get it done if not tonight then when I get back. I have some blood pressure trouble and It always is safe to get it checked out alot with it going up to 192 over 114 every 3 months I think it is the right time. And don't worry because I feel fine it is just a checkup that I have done from time to time.
Please Visit www.789site.com
Please also see my new site that Realspawn made for me if any links are not working just use the ones at At the entrance until there all up. If you want to order the game just enter the new web site by clicking on the new logo made by Realspawn and click on the order link. This will take you to the shop if you get the game you will have all music for the soundtracks Randys Williams Music is only for sell when included with the game there are around 15 Heavy Metal tracks that he has in the game. I have around 17 music tracks some are remixes and last 22 minutes. I made some cd's for sell at the shop the game is only missing the track- "All woods on Fire - French Version".
On The CD "God of Death & The Army of Destruction Audio CD- This CD has most of the Remixes" Not all of the music is on the new CD's The other CD has only single tracks. I had more tracks just ran out of space. There is about 4 hours of music in the game. Thank you. Be Nice this time ok. Kenneth J. Williams, of 789 World Media

It is easier to tear down then to build up but there has been some really good feedback here.

Please don't "side-track" things moggy. You can discuss your criticism of critics in another thread.

The specs are too hard..and the game itsself looks like an abducted hippie's nightmare.

LMAO!!! ABDUCTED HIPPIE´S NIGHTMARE!!
I can't stop laughting with that dude.. stop! hahaaa!!!!!

Ok... *Slowing down my self*... *lmao again*...*slowed down*...

I think that you should take some points as the VERY IMPORTANT ones.

First of all!, Use quality on the FOCUSED objects! use some kind of draw-fog or how ever is called! This will help with the speed of the game! Cause it will render just a few seen objects and not the whole planet.

We tryed your demo at 8 differnet PCS (yes we did)... In no one runned fine.. In a P2 the pc just crashed... P3 It runned slow as ..... and then crashed 2 times (yes 2 times!). With an athlon 2600+ with 256mb of ddr ram.. it runned kinda slow.. and then crashed again! the other pcs were like this ones.. and I don't wanna tell you what happend on the laptop (new one)...

The sound is like "what a drugged guy hears" Cause we just heared some UGLY sounds and then everything crashed (some times crashed twice!).

----

I think that you should sell it at less money.
---

What ppl said is true.
And if this is your first proyect, its ok...
Everything takes time in this life! Takes time to learn! Takes time to make! More if you're alone with a proyect!..

HMM.. GTG!, gotta finish some models here, cya,

Thanks GJF, you reminded me of something.

Kenneth he is right about the fog, fog is a good way to keep your framerate under control on large lvls, as nothing that is beyond sight of the fog is drawn. MANY MANY MANY games use this technique, i recommend you take it into consideration. i can't believe i forgot about this one.

Kenneth-
I'm curious, have you sold the game?
I want to be as helpful as possible...

First, I would try to make your game as low cost as possible, your much more likely to get someone to spend 5 or 10 dollars (still unlikely). I worry that you have placed so much of your heart into this game and might not get the satisfaction or money you are looking for.
Start small, make games free or shareware, this way a publisher will take interest and possibly fund a future game. On the look of the game, PLEASE take some time to look at what your competition out there is. How do I say this...your game lacks a certain sense of art direction
Take some time and play as many pc games or demos you can and take notes on how they do lighting, animation...
You can learn a tremendous amount by studying other games.
If you are submitting your game for public consumption, make sure you can handle the negative reviews!

Lastly, make your specs MUCH lower, not just slightly, MUCH. Your minimum requirements should be something like:

Minimum system requirements:

Windows 98/ME/2000/XP or Linux
AMD or Intel 800 Mhz processor or better
Direct 3D capable crad (64mb or 128mb geforce or ATI)
256MB of free memory
Mouse and Keyboard

I know it sounds low, but thats what most people have.
Try to run your game on a pc like this.

I understand you are an indi developer, but if you plan on selling it, be prepared for the competition!

whow down now...ya hear!?!?
that blood pressure is skyrocketing!! your almost in-line to have a stroke at those levels!! that's way to high! maybe take some AccuPrils. mine was 150/101 at one point & my dr. set me straight with medicine....now it's down to acceptable levels (130/80)....it's that BOTTOM number you really have to watch out for.....generally anything over 100 & your headin' for stroke-ville if it climbs higher & higher! if you stroke out....how ya gonna make anymore games

ok,,,,back on the correct subject:
yes, it is a marvel that the game was even finished....BRAVO!!
a few years ago i developed several screen savers. i settled on one SS that had a certain theme & released it once a year (an annual theme) for around 3 years.

the 1st year i allowed users to get it for FREE (kinda like a whet your whistle) type of thing, & to see if there was enough interest in it & you know what? i had around 10,000 downloads! the next year(s) i charged $10.00 for it & downloads dropped to a couple of hundred. BOTTOMLINE: way more people love FREE stuff i guess. i got discouraged (but only for a short time) & then went on to do other stuff & develop other things & skills.

MORAL: dont get discouraged. above all, dont get high blood pressure over it all. figure out a different approach or produce a totally different game (to keep your BP down) & then let users get something for free to see how many actual users respond....if they like it, they will come (back for more). you could probably develop the most mind-blowing program, spend years in creating it & still have critics, no sells, etc. not all of us can be a Bill Gates, an EA Sports, etc....which i'm sure even they have slumps now & then

any of this make sense? just my 2cents

Reverse The Abnormal is for sell now for $19.98. Sorry about not listing the price it was changed a while back and I got real distracted. The game is also being completely rebulit with beter graphics and smother landscpes with nice control. When it is done it will be released in sets of 5 to 6 levels for around $8.99 in a paper sleeve The cover will be included as a png photo in a file if you would like to print it I will have a phot of one of the new enhanced levels. soon after today. for level 2 maybe even a video later.

I really didnt intend to be mean about the hippie bad ream thing but...that IS what it reminds me of.

Dude...you have two choices of what to do with this game: A sell it for under 10 dollars, for which youll still get a profit, and likely fool more budget gamers than deserve it. Or you can B: give it a proper burial in the freeware section.

Anyway, I still applaud you about finishing it in the first place, and I think its a good thing you have determinations, but what id suggets is you do something smaller and more addictive. Think about this:

if you come out with a new spin of tetris that requires 256 ram and windows XP Professional,....lolol...sorry, sorry... your still catering to an audience. Altho I cant imagine how you would develop a tetris that demanding (I have a feeling youll manage), you'd still be able to cater to an audience...moreso than this game does. You'd need 2 ( coutn em 2) voodoo macihines to run this
