Here is a demo with a simple "node-less" Bot, that Follows the player.
The key point is mainly to show a smooth Movement-code, usefull for shooters,
and a simple Bot AI, that can partly overcome direct obstacles using
the same movementcode and percieving direct obstacles with traces.
Giving the Bot the ability to find and use nodes additionally
would make it even more powerfull. But he can follow quite well, as long as
there is no "trap" in the geometry.

It is also a very important step in AI-Bot design, to make
a Bot as movable as possible (avoid getting stuck), with
the least Information possible. So making a Bot follow a way to his target without
the pathfinding system is a good basis for realistic movement.
The Pathfinding then can add to his abilities a lot.
But no Pathfinding works perfectly, so basic obstacle avoidance must
still be tuned well.
