Hi All,
I am currently considering expanding our programming team, so as, to take on some additional projects in 2008.
I would like to hear from anyone who may be interested in Full or Part Time programming work in 2008.
Probable 2008 projects would be Nintendo DS development, Nintendo Wii development and a game using the Jupiter FX (FEAR) engine.
I would prefer the programmers to live in the Mpls area, but we can manage some offsite coders also.
This request is purely to see if anyone in this forum would be interested in building some games with us next year.
You can ask questions here, or PM me for a private chat....

I would be glad to, but what are the requirements, because I am sure this is going to be a c++ requiring project, which I am still a beginner at, but only in the sense that I don't have much experience. As far as programming technique, and theory though I am fairly well versed, and would be really interesting in gaining some experience even if it is just doing smaller programming tasks.

The requirements are pretty open.
I have experienced developers on staff already, so we can support some new programmers.
On the DS side we are programming in "C"
The Wii can be either "C" or "C++"
The FEAR engine code is "C++"
We are wrapping two DS games next month so there is alot of code that can be reused and referenced. One of next years games is likely to be a sequel of one of this years DS games, thus alot of code to start from.
The bottom line for me is what are my avialable resources, and how can I best attack the projects with those resources.
So right now I am trying to expand the resource pool, once that is done, I can better determine what can be accomplished or not.
Thanks for your interest.

Woot, sounds cool. If you are still open for developers when my christmas break starts, I could do minor programming (bug hunt, scenes, cut scenes, dialogs and so on) as freelancer.
I've been using C++ for 5 years now, still being novice/advanced (not pro) I'd like to expand my knowledge by working on a console game. Even if it is minorly.
If you have very very small things left undone, I'd be interested to test my skills immediately.
