Hi,
don't know if anybody is interrested in this:
If you want to create smooth fonts with the Font Generator from the Conitec download page, try the following steps:
1. Create a font in Font Generator in the original size (lets say 24 pt.)
2. Now select a large size (e.g. 72 pt.)
and create a second one.
3. Open the two pics in Photoshop and convert them in RGB colors.
4. Now scale the large pic down to the size from the smaller one (same pixel width and height,
so uncheck "constrain proportions" and select "resample image: bicubic")
5. The scaling process smooths the edges from the font, and voila, you have a nice smooth one.
Just take the wdl code (which Font Generator creates) from the original font.
You can check the alignment of the letters if you copy the smooth pic in the original pic. But in most cases its not necessary.
Hope this helps anyone.
Bye,
Florian
