Please comment on screens of the last part of our WW2 tank commander series.

[Edit]: The green dots you see in the top right corner of the images are radar markers of mission objectives. I will post some shots showing the game's HUD and Radar later where you can see how the green dots are supposed to be displayed!

first aspect: EMPTY!

The lensflare looks very bad too, but apart from that, it's looking halfways good.

It just looks too clean. YOu need more dirt. It doesnt look like a war scenario.

the war takes place in the desert, so vast empty levels are kind of a requirement here...

normally the textures are not that clean, the images are taken with medium texture resolution, so the textures have less details, that is what makes it look so clean! i guess...

on the lens flares: ? please explain your comment

Not bad
Just wondering what the green dot is you sometimes see at the top right.

It's not too empty, but adding more buildings or foliage would be a good thing to do.

Some maps in Battlefield 2142 are quite empty at times, for example Suez Canel, but it makes up for it in good strategic locations you can go to.

Add shadows. You know, it looks like these things are flying in the air, which - although of course I can only make assumptions - is not what they are supposed to do. If they, however, are supposed to fly, then please disregard that comment.

These ... well, skidmarks or whatever you call these trails this tank is leaving - they seem to be missing on some of the shots (i.e. the fifth, on the right). Maybe the tank isn't touching the ground there, so maybe that's okay.

I agree with Michael on the emptiness, but if that's what you want, then go ahead. I don't like the lensflares as well, but I can't really tell why. Maybe try making them more transparent? I don't know.

Whats with the first screen? It's so dark that I can't see anything on it, aside from the rough outline of the tank (it looks good) and I think there are some stones in there, maybe even a tree - no, wait - three! - or at least something that resembles that in the distance. You know, some particlestars would have been nice. But who knows, maybe the sky is covered in clouds, I don't know. I can't see it, at least.

All in all, they are good. Just add some shadows. You won't make it less empty anyway, and the other complaint of mine was just a minor issue that's likely not really noticeable when the tank moves.

Perhaps this post will get me points for originality at least.

Check out Dungeon Deities! It's amazing and will make you happy, successful and almost certainly more attractive! It might be true!

1).Lens flare could have a big sun entity with rays and also there could be slight eye blinding effect
2).The sky is not reflecting on the ground and the objects. So if its a n evening sky,I feel the ground and objects could be slightly orange, pinkish in colour.

Apart from that,it looks like its in the right track of development !

I like good 'views' because they have no 'strings' attached..

Plain and simple: Obviously, the really important missing elements are bodies, ...human and animal...in varying states of decay.
Give us bones, bodies on the wire, bodies half-buried, etc.
(Also you could add a few living elements.)

I tend to think that realism should take a backseat to fun.
Perhaps, during a journey form one point to another, a really skilled player can choose to pick off avian creatures in the air, and a sloppy player can comically hurl land-based creatures, bodies, or other elements into the air with a well-placed blast. But, why stop there. Maybe the player might like to discover that the two elements can be combined,...throw entities into the air with a well placed blast, and with the proper skill, swat them in mid-air.
(This is really important during 'live cutscenes' near NPCs which claim livestock, as it is slightly satisfying, initially, to apply the proper timing and watch livestock fly off into the air, then come down and bounce in the background, while a particular NPC is rambling on about this or that 'important' objective-related topic.)

Nevermind, just stick to the realistic, safe and boring formula.

I like the orange-like appearance of the sky, but the sky could definitely scream 'fiery hell', or 'bloody apocalypse' a little harder.

That's why your screens look empty. I like them a lot, and I think the game would be fun if there's good enemy Ai etc, but put more rocks etc into your desert...?

It's looking nice, you've maded a great "start" so far and I can only confirm the comment of the other people saying it looks to empty but I can relativate this because a war scene can look empty too

Cheers
