hey,

my laptop graphics card, a intel 915GM (yes it sucks i know, i use it mostly to program ) seems to emulate the vertex shader via the GPU. This way when i check my d3d_shaderversion variable it says only 20 (which means pixel shader 2.0) the intel website says the vertex shader model is 3.0:

But can i run shaders which require both pixel shader 2.0 and vertex shader 2.0??

What exactly does d3d_shaderversion return? 2020? Or only 2000? Software emulated shaders mostly won't work very good, usually they are terribly slow (depending on your CPU a bit).

d3d_shaderversion returns 20, yes i know it's strange but it justs only gives back 20
