Does that mean that you wanna post a contribution although it isn't already the 4th?

ELLO! I was online looking for a texture just like that! Couldn't find one nice looking enough...

Ok here is my Mclaren LM model all setup with Newton Game Dynamics and Sylex3 for bloom. Included in the zip is the WMP as well as an EXE. The model also comes with all the FFP shaders needed, as well as ten different skins. Here are some shots of the model.

You can also find a demo video here Mclaren Video

this video uses the Xvid Codec which can be downloaded here if you don't have it http://www.ironboundstudios.com/media.php

A few notes; the level is missing the WAD file (couldn’t find it any where) but the level is already complied so no need to compile it just hit run, also since this demo uses Sylex3 you’ll need to put the Sylex3.dll in your “acknex_plugins” folder. Of course the easiest way to run it is to just use the exe.

Here is the model + shaders + demo (this is free for use in any commercial or non-commercial Game Studio projects)
mclaren_playground.zip

Controls for the demo are as follows;

W,S,A,D keys drive the car, Holding Right mouse button rotates the camera, and the scroll wheel zooms in and out. Clicking on the colour sample in the menu will change the skins, and clicking on the doors of the car icon will open that door on the car. (note; I coded it so the car stops when doors are open… everyone knows it’s not safe to drive with your doors open )

Hope you like the model, and Merry Christmas

No rest for the wicked.
