Anonymous OP Unregistered A	Hi! (please read to the end) I'm in need of a little program that prooves the installed DirectX-version before starting the game (or not). So i wrote a little App that returns the DirectX-Version. To proove the result on as many systems as possible please download (2ook) the program , start it and replay the given version string here in the thread. Would you please do that for me? After that i will contribute the resulting starter-tool here... thanx, mercuryus

Anonymous OP Unregistered A	Thanx for the replies. The tool is ready. You can download it here in the download area. The little application checks the installed DirectX-version and starts the game if it is valid or shows a dialog with the possibility to install DirectX if not. Read the readme.txt for further setup-inforamtion ... Be free to ask if you have troubles running the proggy. A hint: best used in autorun.ini (from CD): Code: [AutoRun] open=starter.exe icon= have fun, mercuryus
