Does newton even work for gs anymore? Im reading alot of post about it and thought of giving it another shot since last time I tryed it I didnt know the slighest thing about scripting. I just remember hearing it wasnt supported for A6 anymore and they were waiting for some reason to update it. I havent heard anything about an update so just assumed it didnt work anymore...That and the link on the download page isnt there anymore.
The person who made the Newton DLL for GameStudio did so in a time when GameStudio didn't really used model based levels. Also the person who made the dll work for GameStudio (guess it was ventilator) said that the functionality is there, however it must be programmed to work with GameStudio and as far as I know he's isn't working on that anymore.
Furthermore, if i'm not mistaken. In the future with Lite-C you can import non GameStudio dll's and use the new Newton dll without much problem. Maybe someone with more inside information can explain in detail what this means.
