Newbie problem! - 05/05/06 18:41

Hi guys,

I am new in this forum but as I have a problem I decided to post it here:

I am to following the manual of the GStudio and in the part to create one shooter, when "action" it's supposed to add an action to the model "behaviour", I add "player_walk_fight". The problem is that it says that at this moment I should have the control of the model, what doesn't happen - I see the model in my scenary moving itself always followed - it ducks, fights and walks.

Help me plz!!

ps: sory for any bad english.. im from portugal

So you build the level, saved it as yourname.wmp (any name except default!) added a main script and build the map?
Now how do you run the map?
1. after assigning an action to a model, use the "update entity" methode for rebuilding the level.
2. use the "RUN" button to run the level with scripts. If you use the "level fly-through" in the build-options window, no scripts will be exectuted!

Level Fly Through only occurs when no script is attached to the level.
Go to File | Map Properties and load your script file (with the needed action, in this case the main template wdl), everything will run fine then.

To disable fly thru, uncheck box on compile.
