Hi,

When using the default normal map / specular bump map shaders from Gamestudio 3d and from shader tutorials on one my models, I get these transparent black triangles over the model at some camera angles.
I think this has got to do that I did the uv mapping for the model wrong.
Here's a pic of the error (note that this is not a shadow):


How to the uv wrapping right so it doesn't show these problems?

ok.. At the uv - map , I think it very unlikely . dies looks much more like not closed model , was a faulty stencil shadow .

can you upload a testlevel ? so it can be observed better

Hi BlackJack,

I think I found the problem, my camera clip near and clip far were set wrong (1 and 2000). And I noticed it was for other models with a normal map too. For some reason it showed only flickering errors for models when in combination with a normal map material and shadows on (whether shadowmapping or stencil didn't make a difference).

Here is another shot of the error, just incase other people have something similar:
