Zorro System State Account Balance vs IB Account Balance

I'm paper trading with zorro to make sure I fully understand everything before going with live money.

I've got an account with IB that shows a liquidation value of +2,000.
However, when I look at my zorro task bar the system state says
System State: 990946 -143 -1067 2/7
which makes it looks like I am down 9,000 (as IB starts you with 1 million).
Can anyone help me reconcile the two?

The IB net liquidation value is not the profit, but the equity. If you started with 1M and now have 991k, you're indeed down 9k if my math is right. If you invested the whole million, that might have been not trading losses, but spread and commission.

But I'm not down at all. Every other location on IB shows me positive. I liquidated everything and the account showed positive return but zorro still showed under 1M. There were no trades open so why the descrepency.

Here's another slightly different issue. I switched to OANDA because IB gives US clients the run around.

I deposited 1,000 to test the account. The liquidation value on OANDA shows up 10 bucks. All open trades show winning. However the following log printed. How the heck did I lose 5,000 on this line?

I cannot comment the log because I don't know the script, but the equity is directly received from the broker API, so if it's wrong, your broker stole your money. But I think you probably compared different account figures. IB has a lot of different numbers for describing your account state, and what Zorro displays is the "net liquidation value".

If still in doubt, you can subscribe a support ticket and Support will check your script and account and explain the numbers.

Sorry, this is on the z12 script. I'll keep an eye on it and if it pops up again, I'll open a ticket.
