Differing equities told by Zorro and the broker? - 06/03/17 19:12

Hello to all,

currently I am running Zorros Z3, Z7 and Z12 on a live FXCM account since 3 weeks.

The Z strategies status HTML pages tell me that Zorro already has earned about 250€.
If I log into FXCM's trading station then it tells me that my account balance (including the value of all open trades) is a little bit below the original 4000€.

In detail:

- Z3: System State: 4255 +25 +87 ////
- Z7: System State: 4253 -19 +10 ///
- Z12: System State: 4253 -39 +7 15/5
- Broker FXCM: 3985€

If I did understand it correctly then the brocker value should be nearly the same as Zorros 4253+87+10+7 = 4357?

Do Zorro and the broker speak about different things?

For me as trading starter this is very confusing.
Can someone bring a little light in my darkness?

Kind regards, Peter

The "4255" is indeed not necessarily correct, since the FXCM API is known to return wrong equity values. But the "+25 +87" etc. are identical to the trade results in the FXCM trading station.
