Commission - assetList

Could anyone clarify what exactly to type in for stock/etf commissions under a certain assetList?

According to the manual:

Roundturn commission in units of the account currency per 10000 contracts for currencies, and per contract for all other assets. The trade profit is reduced by this amount.

I've checked IB's website for commissions and found following:

Does that mean that I've to use 0.005 in the commission column for AssetsIB (USD 0.005 per share) or 1 (which is the minimum order)?


Also, what I don't understand, why does the included AssetsZ8 assetList have 0.02 under commissions?

I really got stuck with this ...

I use 0.01 for stock commissions, because its buy+sell, so its 2*0.005. When you buy less than 100 stocks you must increase the commission so the position has at least $1 commission:

if(Lots < 100) Commission = 1./Lots;
