Brilliant! I love ZBrush, and loved Sculptris before I had ZBrush, but for me the slowest part of modelling is building a decent base-mesh on which to sculpt (I'm not very good with Z-Spheres), so I'm most excited about the GoZ feature.

Make any shape you can imagine in Sculptris with dynamic tessellation -> GoZ to ZBrush -> Retopo + ProjectAll -> Crazy fancy-pants multi-res and HD sculpting and painting in ZBrush laugh

I can still crash Sculptris, same thing as before. As always: the fact that it now belongs to a large company with tons of money to back it up, that doesn't make it any better. Typical...

Anyways, the software itself is very cool. When it doesn't crash, it's a blast to use.

It seems pretty much like the old version with GoZ

In fact i re tested now Sculptris and Zbrush process !
I go lot more fast making general shapes and some details in Zbrush by using Zspheres 2 that is incredibly fast.
Once it's done just make the unified skin and begin sculpting and detailling.

The problem of sculptris is when you go high on details and polygons it begins to be really slow.
But yes it's an enjoyable sculpting tool before using one lot more powerfull like Zbrush laugh

ah yes, but if you use the tessellation properly you can get a lot of detail with very few polys. granted it still doesnt compare to zbrush, but then again zbrush's workflow is a bit unwieldy sometimes. if i had zbrush i'd probably do the same and just make a hybrid out of these two beasts grin

For all who get the same Download Error like me.

There is an error in the URL.

Parameters are splittet by an "&" and this has to be included by hand.

Woot! I just booted up sculptris again and there was my model from before the crash! Only the last few strokes are missing... that's a cool autosave feature.
