Soccer Game Free (n´droid soccer)

Hi,

For some years I was part of this fantastic community. I worked on some projects and when I needed help there was always someone here to help.

It is now time for me to give something to this community with a contribution which I hope will prove useful to someone.

It was a pity not to finish some projects that I wanted to. Also I feel that the evolution of this game engine was not the most effective over time, but that is my opinion.

This is an initial version of a football game played between androids, which has been not completed and the main purpose is to serve someone who is working in this game genre.

So, lets see what we have here:

- Engine version: A6.50.6 commercial

- Early version of the game, but has the basic structure, as the ball physics system, camera system, movement, gravity, animation of the players, the goalkeepers defense, simple AI, formation settings, debug panels.

- Opponents AI Implemented only in the movement and positioning

- It has bugs, but I think it will be a good starting point to develop any project of this kind


CONTROLS:

Movement = WASD
Pass = Q
High kick = R
Low kick = E

Cameras = C
Line Zones (Debug) = Z, X
Debug Panels = 0 - 9

It looks really cool how the AI places the players in formation,
and react to a switch in offence to defence.

The players look quite realistic already.

Edit: Does anybody know how to set up A7.85 for C-Script instead of Lite-C? I can`t start the project because the engine doesn`t compile C-Script code.

Perhaps are you using the free version? Free version can't compile C-Script.

Hey Rodinon, i think you have to use A6 somehow, because there are old A6 commands, which A7 can´t compile.

It's very cool, but it needs to be executed with A6, that's probably the cause of the number of comments.

Well,

C-script is supported in A7 engine. I didnt try but it seems migration isnt so difficult, maybe change some old for new syntax, that one probably give some error.

"Migration", from A6 to A7 can be easy but it can also be very painful!
It all depends on what version of A6 the project has been created with...
If prior to A6.4... That could be very difficult... But of course it also depends on your coding skill level...
I wonder which version of A6 this has been built with???
