Hi,

say I have an embossing shader and want to apply it to the current rendered screen - as final touch

How would I get the pointer to its virtual bmap?

In fact I want to toy around with shaders like in this tutorial:

The result might look like this one, but it is not a screenshot but a live scene.

I dont think there is one. To do something like this with pro, you could create a bmap the same size as the screen, render to it, and apply a shader to that. Ello does this in alot of his demo's (although i think he usually uses a smaller then screen texture that is "fitted" to the screen).
