Small tip -> I noticed that med doesn't crash anymore after doing file->new or ctr+n when importing several fbx files after each other. Might be helpfull to others who also need to convert a bunch of fbx/obj's to mdl models without med crashing constantly. tongue

hey reconnoiter!

when you want to import an FBX into MED, how do you prepare the model to import? How do you save animation scenes? Do you have to import in each scene seperately into the base MED file? If you are working in Maya, do you save one animated scene into FBX, then add these as frames in the base MED file?

Oh just see this post now, hi jumpman;

I use Blender and haven't tested importing of models with it latest anim system (probably similar as in Maya), but imported alot from ~2010 fbx format which worked. Would maybe work with latest anim system too, otherwise do this black magic trick from tagimbul: http://www.opserver.de/ubb7/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Main=55261&Number=461736#Post461736
