Hey there I finally finished my first ever projekt[a little A6 cult game ]
its just a funny little game not too big and no much scripting effort
(except the beginning ) however I have a lot of fun with it.

Well I think the main Problem is the song I converted a mp3 to a wav file its a huge one
but youre right

Convert it to Ogg Vorbis (Audacity). That may be smaller.

yeah, i saw that, 60 MB HUGE, lol

but i had a good laugh!! especially when you all animatie them with jum,ping, damn, too funny, you made my day

uhm just 1 question how long does it take you guys to download it?
If I download it my pc says
about 9 or 10 minutes

took me about 3 minutes...

Looks cool but too small!! I make bigger game! But me is problems with weapon take up from ground and other things!

Yeah thats right first I tried to find a Moddeler and an Animator but no one wanted to help me and I cant do it myself
the would have been a lot smaller if I had a good wav file

lol, Congrats on completing something. Did you do all the scripting? If so this was probally a very good learning expeirence. Keep at it, staying with small projects like this is a very good way to grow with 3dgs.

and ites been a big experience for me now i can focus on some bigger thing do you know on what I could start next?

Id go for an actual game this time. Try to put what you learned from this into something playable. You should focus on player movement and interaction. Combined with what you learned here you could prehaps create a small first or third person shooter. Or even just a level where the player has to run around and solve a few puzzles.. Even if they are just pressing buttons in a certain order. Just a few thoughts mind you the possibilities are endless

Im currently trying on a 3rd person movement but I dont really know should I move the carachter with ent_move, c_move or just play with the x and y cooridates?
however thx for the help

Id go with C_move since its the new syntax no telling when ent_move will be removed. Their not much different tho to be honest so either is fine.

As far as x,y cordinates I deffinatey dont advise that. You cant use colision as far as I know using x,y... So then your player will pass right thru anything and everything.... EEEK! not a good thing

but i got probs I posted in the script Forum
I´ll think I´will go with your Idea about walking through some Levels and do some puzzles
