Some nice screens you have there Josh. Rich DiGiovanni that works for Level Design Dreams, LLC and the Leadwerks Corporation are in the process of making some nice Promotional Levels for 3D World Studio, Including this Warehouse.

Anyone who has skill and can apply it correctly can use this software to make some nice maps as you can see here.

Have a good one.

Hi!

Thank you for the update!!, does any correction in the program about 3dgs map exporting? for the texture, and terrain exporting?, for those that use 3dws together to 3dgs, it is very important these things, and if would be possible export the lightmap also would be really great!
however thank you from all the user of 3dgs and those that use 3dws.

Regards

It's back up.

I am still working on .wmp export. Texture coordinates seem to be getting reset when the map is opened in WED. I'll ask jcl about it.

this looks really cool. i got the demo and i would like to get the full version, but i would like to wait to 3DGS export is fully supported. i do have one question. how exactly is the terrain textures handled when you export? to get similar results i have had to use a shader and define the different tiling textures with another map, so like for grass and dirt , there would be a map with colors that specified where the grass would be and where the dirt would be. i am just curious how seemless this process is from world studio to game studio, is it as easy as making the terrian in 3DWS and exporting to 3dGS and thats that? the terrian tools are very nice, we use the unreal 3 engine at work and they are very similar, expecially the flatten tool. good job!

Every wmp i try to import fails?
What are the restrictions for wmp files that can be imported?

Ludochrist, right now 3DWS doesn't export the terrain to 3DGS. 3DWS does except height map, and blending maps for the texture layers. So the workaround would be to use the same hmp, and blend maps for 3DWorld, and use them in a 3DGS multi texture shader. GS does have one included that works well. It's definitely nice to be able to modify the terrain right in the LE, so hopefully Josh at 3DWS will be able to have that export.

r00tsh3ll, I don't think the .wmp import is fully implemented yet.

Once it's fully compatible, I'd highly recommend 3DWS for 3DGS users. I created the warehouse compound seen in the screenshots with all geometry, 30 models, 60 textures, in under 5 days, so it's very efficient to work with.
