I always loved shaders but this one looks kinda weird. Btw, what's a chrome shader

This looks great Ello. Sorry if I am supposed to credit A Russell too, wasn't sure. Yea, basically with shaders, you can add a diffuse so in other words: Instead of faking chrome metallic static look on your diffuse, you could have your diffuse very cartoony with 1 shade of colour and then let the chrome shader do the rest . From the picture, I can see the original diffuse underneath and the chrome effect ontop. Hehe I love shaders . Maybe it's a little zoomed in .
