A friend of mine has a lot of cinematic sounds, mostly mp3. 3dgs seems to not support alot of sounds. Wav works often, anything else is not supported. If I convert the sounds they loose quality and it doesn`t always work afterwards either.
How do you handle sounds/music? Are there tricks I don`t know about?

? edit: As far as i know those files must be in the game directory and are ignored by the resource compiler. Maybe solves this, never tryed. .avi, .wmv, .wma, .wav, .mid, .mp3, .ogg Maybe some people wanna take a look in here, a simple music - player example using media_play, media_tune, media_stop http://www.opserver.de/ubb7/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=439129#Post439129
