So I get a E2000 ztarg error. I only get this when I publish the game, never when running from SED. More funny part is that there is no script running. I actually have function main return at the start of it's function. I can tell that is working as the window does not change size before it crashes as it did before I tried that extreme fix. I have no levels or models in this game as everything is in 2d. Even when I load a level it does not fix this problem.
I am using A7.86
Any ideas?

To make this more interesting, this thing works just fine under 7.80.1. But once updated to the final build it gives the ztarg error.

I was using 7.86 for a long time and this ZTARG problem came out of nowhere. I assumed it was one of my files being loaded but I had resaved all of those files and even removed them from the script. I'll update directx to see if that is it, can't do any harm if not.
Nope, that did not fix it. Also it runs just fine in SED.

I found that thread too. This isn't the first ztarg error I have had, usually it was a bad image file. However I have NOTHING running. I put a return at the beginning of function main and it crashes instantly.
"This is an error on creating an additional z buffer for a render target. The buffer could not be created, causing the render target to be re-sized to the screen size."
That's just it, nothing is rendering.
Just did it again. I went to latest of A7 and it crashes on the published version but not set. Go back to 7.80.1 or whatever and it is just fine.
