I am thinking about starting a space flight/fighting game. The gameplay will be a little differnent though. It will be a networked game think like blizzards batle.net or a one person game. In the one person game you will fly a small fast fighter and you will fly and fight. or it can be co-oop (2 or more) 1 person would be just the pilot in very fast play like in star wars pod race game. but the second person would be a gunner. who just controlls the shooting. the more players that co-op play up to 12 the bigger the ship they fly and the harder and tougher the AI will be. or in network play against other players.

but good idea, probably there are some military simulations with similar concept. maybe I read about an upcoming game something like this on strategyinformer.com but don't remember exactly... I think it was a star wars related MMO...
