How should I make the attack function?

It could be classical combo action or maby attacks depending on, in with direction your strafing.

Ideas please tongue

not sure how shadows are created in this game, probably they are based on stencil shadows. The ligthning in Severance is fully dynamic, with no lightmaps, and it's capable to handle an arbitrary number of lights and blending smoothly between them. A great feature for a game from 2001, isn't? wink
