Anyone heard of the Humble Bundle? Pay what you want, 5 games that work on Windows, Mac or Linux. Great deal. Top contributors are shown, which seems to give some advertisers enough motivation to donate large chunks of money (so far all of them out-done by notch, to no one's surprise).

i like this idea a lot and it seems to be quite successful. they even made some of the games of the first bundle open source.

i really like the style of revenge of the titans. laugh

i find the time puzzles of braid a bit too confusing and inconsistent. i kind of like this simple flash game more: http://www.gamesfree.com/game/company_of_myself.html

i haven't checked the other games yet.

That's a good break-down of the games. Maybe I'll spend some more time on Cortex Command now. It's a steep start, and there doesn't appear to be a whole lot of actual content.

wow, i just got a mail which stated that the complete humble indie bundle #1 got added to the #2 now too! that's awesome. laugh

i think all of the games are very interesting to learn from since they got done by very small teams.

I think this is a good idea. It looks like they are doing well.
I have played a bit of each of them and they are all fun to play. My favorite is machinarium I have always liked the point and click games. Cortex command is a lot of fun but needs improvement. Cortex command just about overheated my laptop I had to turn it off and put it infront of a fan. But it is fun to play.
I think this is a great deal and will hopefully get more people into buying indie games

i really like machinarium. which is kind of strange since i didn't like any adventure after they didn't use rather abstract pixel graphics anymore (with resolutions of 320x200 or less). laugh i guess machinarium works for me because it is about robots and i don't have to identify with some ugly cartoon humans.
