I have a problem with the version 8.03 the fbx plugin in med does not appear. I can not import and export objects in fbx. Tell me if you have a solution.

Maybe, you have to reinstall the GameStudio, I see the version number 8.02 in my starting window, although I thought that it is the latest version, and I have the option to import from fbx...

I reinstalled my computer and reinstalled the 8.02 version to see if it had version 8.03 but did not FBX plugin display. In the directory med_plugins FbxFiles2010.dll file is there but does not display in import and export. I tried removing all other plugins and let the FBX plugin but it did not appear in med. I have the pro version before it was displayed well.

In my 8.03 commercial I can see the button

FBX plugin works in 8.03. Maybe you were using the MED from an old version?

I installed version 8.03 under XP and I see the import and export FBX but not on Windows Seven. I have an error in the log file med :

load dll: med_plugins\FbxFiles2010.dll
Can not load library <C:\Program Files\GStudio8\med_plugins\FbxFiles2010.dll>

I don't own Windows 7, my guess is that you need administrator rights to install it properly...

I have win 7 64-bit and I don't have any problem

I found ! it was necessary to install the "Security Update for ATL Package
Microsoft Visual C Redistributable 2005 SP1 (x86) "(= version 8.0.59193).

• Append Frames from ASC

• Model from Microsoft X
• Model from Milkshape ASCII
• Model from 3DSMax ASCII Scene Export
• -------------------------
• Model from Gamestudio WMP
• Model from Wavefront OBJ
• Terrain from Image

Export :

• Model to ASCII
• Bones to ASCII
• KeyFrames to ASCII
• -------------------------
• Model to ASC
• Model to 3DS
• Frame to ASC
• Frame to 3DS
• -------------------------

In the export there is no FBX
- 3dgs A7.86/A8.10.1 Com
- Win XP

PS : I installed the VC Redist but see no change.

The FBX export plugins files where not included in the 7.86.2 and 8.10.1 installer. I installed the 7.84.2 and then updated. I have the plugins now.
