I've worked as flash animator and designer for the last 12 years... i agree that flash has become a bloated piece of **** since Adobe bought it... the Internet has changed and Flash didn't keep up, but i seriously doubt HTML5 will replace it in the near future, lets see.
Its hard enough to create a performing application for Android using pure Java code. A Gamestudio "Android engine" would be either unusable for its low FPS, or be a totally different concept and platform. (So you could not use any PC ressourcs anyhow)
of course you can't use the same high detail assets as on a high end pc but it wouldn't be unusable. why would gamestudio be much slower than unity for example?

i don't understand what you mean? a pure java application is slower than a c/c++ application, not faster.

yes, there are different android platforms. some are faster, some slower but on the 1998 pc, games like half-life were possible. you can still easily work on this graphical level with gamestudio if you want to. why will unity and others have android ports soon if engines like those are unusable on it?
