As an extension on the posted video of 'A universe from nothing', the talk of Lawrence Krauss introduced by Richard Dawkins, both gentlemen have also given a public discussion about darwin, einstein, evolution vs creationism and religion vs science. Both are men of science, but their approach of educating the population differs. They mainly focus on the closed-minded religious population of America and how to persuade them in showing how science is not evil.

Personally, I much agree with Krauss on the majority of his dialogues, but they both have a very sophisticated idea of this difficult subject.

Enjoy:

i watched this one too. it's great that there are so many interesting talks, lectures and discussions on youtube. maybe we could do some link collection thread? laugh

...also about maths and computer science. recently i came across a very interesting talk about the n!=np problem for example. unfortunately i don't find it anymore. it also discussed graph theory, euler circuits, the traveling salesman problem,...

I like Steven Pinkers books on language and the mind.
There are many discussion videos also online from him.

R.I.P. Sir Mandelbrot. Maths wouldn't have been as fun without you laugh.
