If this isnt a bug, may I request this post be moved to the "Blame the manual" forum please.
As I dont know if this is a known issue that is explained somewhere and I missed it.

But my problem is this...

When using "c_trace" with the USE_BOX flag set, then a 'solid' ray (based on the ME entity) is used correct?

BUT, if the ME entity is NOT located at the trace's origin, then the trace APPEARS
to revert to a simple line-trace(as if USE_BOX was not used).

IF REQUESTED, I'll put a demo-script together. But it wont be quick.

Thanks

I can not reproduce this with my test script. But on the other hand, another user reported a similar problem that we could not reproduce either - so there might be indeed a bug that only happens under certain circumstances. Can you upload your demo project? We'll look into it.

OK, i'll try to put one together later tonight...
Thanks, and welcome back.

[EDIT] Dammit...
I cant get it to reproduce now...
{Unfortunately I deleted my old demo I had it failing in...}

I'll keep trying.

I just dont get it... I CANNOT get it to fail again...

Ive even gone back to my project-code and taken out the work-arounds,
and it works fine there too ?!?

So maybe there was a bug in my code that Ive in-advertantly fixed (I hope not),
or the engine bug is a very small "hole" (I hope not even more).

Im going to drop thus bug-hunt, thanks...

Unless it re-surfaces again...
