Sorry if this has been asked elsewhere, but I couldnt find anything...

For the summer AUM contest, what is the definition of a "tool"?

Are we talking purely pre-production tools? Or in-game tools?

Because, to ME, a tool is any 'system' that takes away a load from the programmer.
But i tend to think a bit differently to most NORMAL people...

Im asking cause Ive got a couple of things i'd like to enter, but I dont know if
other people would call them "tools".
To be more specific, I have a 3d panel system, and a multiplayer score-tracker.

Oh, and can you enter more than one thing?

Thanks guys and gals.

Personally I class a tool as something like WED, MED, SED, etc, something with a classic user interface, used for pre-production of assets/resources. That's just my opinion.

You can enter as many "tools" as you like i believe.

When the AUM with the contest description was released I asked, if something like a Lite-C header couints as a tool, and this was George's respone:

So I guess your stuff counts as tools.

Any application that can help a GameStudio user is a good "tool" for the contest. You can submit as many tools as you want.
