Anyone know how to play ac3 files? Also is there any way to detect if 5.1 hardware is setup?

Do you need a sodtware to play them or do you want to play them in your game?
You can download here an ac3 filter to play ac3 files in any player.

Well would like to play them in game. And if needed convert to a format that will play but maintain the 5.1.
