I've been trying to use the mtl_envcube material that comes with A6 (its listed in the help file), but simply can't get it to work. I've set my environment bitmap and ive also set the material properity of my model.
I've tried it on 2 entities - the first one turns dark grey, and the 2nd one appears light blue with the material assigned.
How would I go about using the material properly?

Make sure your model's skin is a targa and has an alpha channel. In the alpha channel, you can define what parts of the model use the enviromental map and what ones don't. Solid white is solid reflective, black is no reflection, and the grays in between are to the same ratio.
If it still doesn't work, let us know what graphics card you are using.

I've made the skin a TGA with the alpha channel, but I've still had no success. When the alpha chanel is black, the model is invisible, when its white, the model is visible - what you would expect it to be like with no material assigned.
I'm using a Radeon 9000 Pro 128mb. I've tried the effects level that comes with 3dgs, and all the effects work fine there.
