Stops can move in both directions.
The Z1, Z2, and Z3 systems limit the duration of some trades by tightening the stop. This is the constantly lowering that you observed. It is not really trailing, as it can also happen when the price does not move.
When the entry condition is fulfilled again while trades of the same algorithm are still open, their duration is reset and their stop is set to the optimal value at the current price. This can move the stop both upwards or downwards.
