Hi JCL,

I have a problem that i can not to do reduce/increase the shadow sprite for my npc if i use a decal shadows. Is that possible?
Also i have several other problems related to the decal shadows for which i have already tried to find answers in this topic

About my second problem where player shadow change size if i play diferent frames i resolve when i back on version A8.03.2, but now i simply stuck in this old version.

Did you can help me please to resolve these problems if this possible, if not did i can expected fix in next update?

The size of the decal shadow is automatically determined from the visual size of the object. So there is indeed no parameter to set an individual size, and the player frame has no influence. But you can use the shadow parameter of the entity to set an individual decal shadow sprite of a different size and shape. This should work in all A8 versions.

Do NOT use old versions. When you think that something is wrong with a certain version, please post a bug report with an example. Decal shadows are no different in A7 and A8, and we have no report of any problem with them in newer A8 versions.

hmm...now i confused... you say that the player frame has no influence on shadow size, but please wach my video what hapens after attack frames:

This is reason why i still use old version where sprite shadow a whole time keep his original size. About another problem i still believe that customers who use the decal shadows really need option where they can set the scale x/y of shadow sprite at the beginning of action, especially for c-script user, where i guess is not possible to call another shadow sprite by entity like in lite-c. Not exactly a fun job to make shadow sprites for 20-30 entity smile .

Now my big problem is (if i want use new A8 version), why my shadow change size if i play frames where i want use flying shild or another animation where some parts of the mesh (or one bone point) need travel a little further from the model origin. How i can keep original shadow scale for all frames?

Yes, the video looks as if there's indeed something wrong with the shadow size. Do you use bones frames or vertex frames?

I try both solution. In current code i use bones on wich i attach shild entity on one bone by code.
