Hello,
While reading the manual offline (from the SED menu help), in the section "How to convert C-Script code to lite-C", there are broken links in the beginning of the text: "wdl to wdl.txt" and "wdl to c.txt", both freezes the application when clicked.

Might be a problem of your browser - make sure that it can display *.txt files.

The normal Internet Explorer should not have any problems with such files.

Hello again,
Following the "clean up your code" section of the http://www.conitec.net/beta/litec_migration.htm, i had serious isues with the Ecobyte Replace text.
First, the download page is in GERMAN - no offense, but a direct link would cause less problems for english users like me (english is my second language here too) wink
Second: the link downloads Ecobyte Replace text 2.2, and when i import the search/replace table from the wdl_to_C.txt, the table remains empty and the application crashes if i try to convert the scripts loaded in the conversion group - maybe the .txt file provided is from a different version of the Replace text available for downloading?
I´m using Windows 7 64 bits, the sccripts are from older versions of Gamestudio (they worked in version A7).

It's possible that the conversion texts were for an older replacEM version. They were from 2006. I believe replacEM is also outdated - at least it's only still available on a few obscure websites.

The texts are just lists of standard regular expressions, so you could easily adapt them to other replacement tools.

I´m actually doing it by hand, or better, using the replacing functions inside SED to fix the scripts.
I tought i just didn´t followed the manual or made a very embarassing mistake in something simple like using a free tool recommended by the gamestudio developers, i´m actually relieved that this was, in reality, a mistake by Conitec for offering an outdated link.
Seems to me that most users don´t try to update their old wdl scripts, instead their do it all over from the beggining or simple give up and migrate to another engine.
