IceTray OP Newbie I Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 11 Canada	I've just downloaded the trial version, to see if this is something I would consider purchasing, but my decision was swayed very largly when the program failed to run. It installed fine, MED works moderately, despite some slight visual issues. However, SED and WED, do not work. They open, you can edit things, add things, do modifications fine, but you cannot run anything. Clicking the run, will show the debugging window, which states nothing has failed, and it should run fine, it then loads up the larger game window, but shows nothing, and instantly closes, with the default error ding noise. I waited, but no error popped up to explain the problem. So, I loaded up SED, hoping for better results, however, it was the same thing. I am currently running this on Vista, I'm not sure if that is the issue or not. So, I'm wondering if anyone has a solution, because its hard to see if its worth buying, if I can't even get the demo to run properly.

Create level,save it,compile it,create "game.c" in the same folder,open it with SED,add this code to it: Code: #include <acknex.h> #include <default.c> function main() { level_load("level_name.wmb");//level to run wait(3); } Click on run.. IceTray OP Newbie I Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 11 Canada	Same thing. It worked fine, but once the load window finishes, it gives the general windows error ding sound, and then closes with no error listed anywhere.

IceTray OP Newbie I Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 11 Canada	The complete lack of overall technical support wasn't surprising, almost reminiscent of the last time I came here looking for standard help. I appreciate the users who had tried to give me a hand in getting started, but this has just swayed my decision to pass on the purchase of this product. There is no real tech support, and its pretty sad that a program like this, doesn't even work once you get to the third line in the 'Getting Started' document. This is not a piece of software I will recommend for anyone to look into. Maybe when the company releases another version, that works.
